This project was started through a global grant GG1524827 in 2016 and was inaugurated in May 2018. In addition to the The Rotary Foundation the other partners in this project are the International Eye Foundation, Washington, USA and the Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital. The total budget for the eye centre was USD 183,000. The eye centre is running successfully since its inauguration. The details of the patient care undertaken in the last year is as per table below

After successfully completing the Eye Hospital in Karol Bagh through a Global grant, we applied for a Global Grant for specialised equipments for Glaucoma for the centre in this Rotary year, through a Global Grant GG2055764 with Hawaii USA and Japan : Value INR 62.30 Lakh, US$87757. It was perhaps one of the first GG grants to be approved in this 2020-21 Rotary Year.
The equipment was successfully received and installed and the project inaugurated in August 2021!
